教具准备(teaching aids)
1.准备本课的学生卡片、教师卡片、教学挂图、投影片、录音磁带。
2.准备第13课的录音磁带。
3.准备自己家的合影。
4.根据班里的学生人数制作一张调查表。
教学步骤
step1. 热身 / 复习(warm-up / revision)
(1)播放第13课的磁带。让学生集中注意力,听之前要注意两个问题:what's tom's father? what's tom's mother? 在听的过程中明确tom 的父母的职业。
(2)学生以小组为单位,讨论tom的全家,特别要注意介绍他的父母的职业:his father is a teacher.his mother is a tailor.看一看哪个小组表现好,给予奖励。
step2.新课导入(presentation)
(1)教师组织全体学生拿出自己准备好的全家福照片一起做游戏。教师明确小组要求,学生立即指出自己的爸爸并说:this is my father.he is a ....
(2)要求每组选出代表到讲台前做介绍。
(3)教师展示本课教学挂图,明确人物之间的关系。
(4)教师提出问题:
how old is wei min?
what's his father?
what's his mother?
what does he want to be in the future?
listen to the tape and tell me the answers.
(5)播放录音,让学生听后回答问题。要根据实际情况选择听录音的遍数。
(6)请若干学生回答问题,教师要给予适当的鼓励评价。
(7)再放录音,核对以上问题的答案。
(8)教师请学生听录音跟读模仿。
step 3.趣味操练(practice)
(1)教师拿出事先准备好的全家福照片,首先向学生做示范介绍。
hello, boys and girls, look at the photo of my family.
this is my father.he's a doctor.this is my mother.
she's a teacher.what do i want to be in the future?
i want to be a teacher.i love my father and mother.we are a happy family.
(2)教师将全班分成若干小组,让学生在小组内做自己家庭的介绍。
(3)请每组选一个代表到讲台来,拿着自己的家庭照片做介绍。教师和同学共同给予评价。

(4)教师举起代表不同职业的卡片,让学生抢答。如:教师举起一个出租车司机的图片,学生应立即说出 taxi driver,也可以反过来,教师说英语让学生举图片。
(5)互动游戏:在全班范围内以两人一组,选择自己的好朋友,交换家庭的照片,在真实的情景中复习巩固单词和句型。
(6)对话表演:以小组为单位,学生自行分配角色,三人一组,分角色演练本课对话。
step 4.课堂评价(assessment)
教师指导学生完成《活动手册》中相关的内容。
