n. 犯错, 误会。复数形式:mistakes
① don’t be afraid of making mistakes.不要怕犯错。

vt. 错认,误会。三单形式:mistakes;
v.-ing形式:mistaking;过去式:mistook;过去分词:mistaken。
③ i mistook the house.我认错了房子。
④ i mistook you for an american.我误认为你是一个美国人。
2. paid 是pay的过去式
pay vt.(钱)支付,花费;vi. 付款

much too中,much用在too前来加强语气,
后跟形容词或副词;too many后跟可数名词或集合名词。

※ one除作数词外,还可作代词,代替上文中出现的单数
名词(人或物)以避免重复。如:
①i have two bags. one is big and one is small.
我有两个包。一个大的,一个小的。
※ one代替可数名词,表示泛指。如:
② i have a car. do you have one? 我有一辆汽车,你有吗?
※ one如被定语修饰而仍表示泛指时,在修饰语前可以加不定冠词a或an.
③ there are two bikes behind the house, a new one and old one.
房后有两辆自行车,一辆是新的一辆是旧的。
※ one被定语修饰表示特指时,在修饰语前可以用定冠词the。如:

※ one的复数形式是ones,用来代替复数名词,其用法同one.如:

—the ones on the desk are red, and the ones on the window are yellow.

※ one前面可以加this或that,构成this one或that one。
而ones前面不能用these或those,但当ones 前面有形容词
修饰时,可以用these或those。

这只风筝大,可那只小。
⑦these red apples are big, but those green ones are small.
这些红苹果大,而那些绿苹果小。
※ one与it,ones与they都代替上文提到的事物,但应注意
区别one和ones是泛指一个或一些人或事物,
当前面有the,this,that,those,these等词修饰时,
与这些词一起才可以特指。it和they代替同类事物中的一个或一些,常用于特指上文提到的人或事物。
⑧—where is your book? 你的书在哪?
—it’s on the desk. 在书桌上。
⑨—who has an eraser? 谁有橡皮?
—i have one. 我有。(泛指同类中的一个并不是特指)
⑩i have two sweaters. the two ones are red.
我有两件羊毛衫。那两件都是红色的。(与上文是同两件羊毛衫)
—do you have english books? 你有英语书吗?
—yes,i have two ones.是的,我有两本。(泛指同类事物中的两本)
5. confused adj. 迷惑的,糊涂的
confusing与confused
confusing adj. 指“物”或“事”。confused adj. 修饰的是“人”。
