step 1
1. ask a tall pupil and a short pupil to come to the front. revise the pronouns he and she by saying them as you point to a boy and a girl.
2. revise tall and short. say, he is tall and she is short.
step 2
1. show a family picture portrait of a father, a mother, and two children – a brother and a sister. point and say father, mother, brother and sister.
2. draw another man. draw an arrow from him to the father and say brother. draw an arrow from the children to him and say uncle. draw a wife for the man. point to the arrows from the children to her and say aunt. draw a child for the man and woman. point to the arrow pointing both ways from the brother and sister to the child and say cousin.
3. show transparency and play the pupil’s book cassette.
ask the pupils to repeat after the teacher as the teacher says each word.
